I think you never know what it’ll really end up being like until you try and have a relationship and two years ago we tried and we realized it really does work. But [in the beginning], I was looking at it in such a friend way for so long and he was there to support me and be that friend to really talk about every experience I was going through, so it breaks my heart to look at it now and think I must have been killing him inside when he felt a certain way. We met like 12 years ago and I’d say about like 10 years ago … we started to become cool and friendly and kept this friendship ever since and it would go in and out as we had relationships … but we had such a strong bond and he’d step back and let me make mistakes and maybe told me a couple times I was making mistakes, but … he’s really held my hand throughout my mistakes and I don’t think I’ll ever find a friend that’s as supportive.
This is everything.

Solange Knowles - Today I’m Wearing…
Viola Davis is a freaking tour de force. As she slowly peels back her wig, her eyelashes and wipes away her makeup, you can just see Annalise come undone. She doesn’t say a word, but you can feel the pain radiating off her. It gave me the chills. (x)
How to fall in love with a actor!
#this moment throws things #i don’t think you understand how important it was for me to see this moment #a black woman who is strong #and i’m sorry but i like strong women characters who are smart and tough in a world and in a profession that is dominated by men #but to see her do this she took off her wig #and her makeup she sat there and washed off the mask of the day and of the life and she felt it #god she felt it #she stripped herself bare so she could get back to basics and start to take this challenge head on #god it was just magnificent #it was brilliant writing and acting and lighting #fuck i mean look at it #and god it is representation in the best of ways #it’s just so good
